How come i cant make fondant right?!?

i made fondant and i attempted to make a bow but it just drooped! how can i stiffen my fondant? i read about this stuff called tylose powder, how much would i add to my fondant and how? would i just kneed it into the fondant? any suggestions on how to stiffen it?
