How to become confident while acting? D:?

Okay, so I'm in two plays for my school on May 19, 2011. I'm really nervous on stage & my muscles stiffen up. I really need help to get more confident and stay in character. I also need help looking out into the audience. Please help me!!!! I'm desperate! :( Thank you so much! I'd appreciate professional advice! (:
