Can you redownload pinnacle studios software on your computer?

I have a dazzle, I've had it for over a year. I bought it from this lady, and when i got home to set it up a year ago. The software would say its installing, but then disappear. So I was frustrated and put it away. Well i decided to try again, and it isn't working still. I have plenty of memory. Im not sure if she downloaded it to her computer previously? please help
