If clutch pedal has becomes stiff & has difficult time going into gear, wont start in 1st ,what is the problem?

In the future, get a clutch pedal play adjustment. There should be play in the pedal. It is when you lightly press the pedal and it moves slightly before you feel the clutch disengage. Get your clutch adjusted when no play and you will never replace the clutch. Alot of people dont know about the play. STOP ASKING THE SAME QUESTION OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!
