What does it mean when my teddy bear hamster puts her tail straight up in the air?

Sometimes i notice that whenever i might be getting on her nerves or doing something she doesn't like, she stiffens, streches out, and sticks her tail STRAIGHT up in the air and keeps it there until i leave her alone. Does anybody have a good answer to my question? Thanks! GOD BLESS.
